Finally after several years I have been to Carnage 29, well truth be told I’m in the middle of the convention. I have run two sessions of Crawling to Liberty and both tables ended with everyone having fun. Thanks go out to the wonderful players and good luck to the team on Sunday at 1PM.

I have never been able to attend Carnage due to schedule conflicts with the Air Guard. Hooray retirement. I can attend now and not worry about drill weekend. I have always gone to the big shows in the mid-west (Origins and GenCon) and having a con closer to home (<30 miles) was refreshing. It’s no where near the size of the two big summer cons, but that’s nice. It’s a place to run games rather than a shopping excursion. The exhibit hall is small and there are nice (and local) vendors. The amount of games is impressive for central/southern Vermont and people are friendly. I am already making plans for next fall in Killington. Maybe by then I’ll be able to run two funnels and two level 1 follow-ons. I definitely need to look for more games to play when I am there. This time out I was too focused on running things.
